By means of these surveys, it is possible to study the depth of spread of underground water, the thickness and composition of water layer. Piezometers are used for the determination of hydrogeological parameters in water horizons in the studies. The application of piezometers enables to determine the piezometric level in the point where the filter is placed.
For this purpose, hydrogeological exploration wells were drilled in the allocated areas and the depth of underground water, lithological composition of horizon and its thickness are determined. Successively, water intake tests are carried out, the debit of underground waters, the productivity of the layer and the filtration coefficient are calculated.
On the other hand, the source of supply of water horizon, its origin, level amplitude are determined, as a result of chemical analysis of water samples taken, their aggressive features against construction materials (structures made of reinforced concrete) are specified.
